于2005年，罗伟创立了「Tipping Point Community 转折点社区」。在没有接受任何政府资助的情况下，「转折点」筹集了超过5亿美元，并在早期幼儿教育、就业、住房和教育方面取得了可衡量的成果。罗伟彰显负责任的领导风格，促成了多个创新项目，其中包括按时、按预算建造的经济适用房开发项目，并与有良好薪酬的工会劳工合作完成。
罗伟深受父母的启发，展开为社区服务的生涯，目前他和妻子贝卡 (Becca) 同时专注于在三藩市 – 一个令我们所有人都感到自豪的城市- 抚育自己的孩子。
